Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose a software system and design a strategy to test this system.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and help implement automation enhancements.
• Help define, promote, and ensure adherence to quality assurance processes such as test plan reviews, defect management, risk/complexity analysis, and regression test maintenance.
• Understands application requirements and can help design features to make them easily testable
• Writes and executes regression tests for Software and Dynamic Website Testing
• Install, Maintain and Use test automation tools independently
• Analyzes patterns of defects to determine opportunities for improvement in the software product.
• Expert in:
1. Unit testing
2. UX Testing
3. UI Testing
4. Integration testing of APIs
5. Performance and scalability testing
6. Security Penetration Testing
7. Mobile Application Testing
8. Website testing

Desired Skills / Experience

• Strong functional and automated testing, test strategy and planning, writing detailed test cases based on user scenarios and deep technical knowledge.
• Strong problem solving and investigative skills, with the drive to get to the root of the problem.
• Ability to collaborate and work on complex problems in stringent timelines
• Usage of automation/performance tools and able to write end to end automation scripts.
• Ability to programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas
• A complete understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and quality assurance.
• Proficient working with relational databases.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments.
• Understanding of multi-tier web application architecture and deployment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Experience:

  3+ years’ relevant experience in desired field. Added advantage will be given if having experience in automation test tools such as Selenium, Gatling, JMeter, SoapUI, Cucumber or equivalent

Preferred Qualification

B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc/BCA./ MS/M.Sc/ MCA/M.Tech in IT/CS  from reputed college with minimum 60% or equivalent.
